Whitewater Rafting
July 18 - 20, 2008
Discovery joins American Whitewater Expeditions on the American River for an exciting and fun filled weekend!
Paddle rafts are state-of-the-art and self-bailing. Everyone is involved in the fun and excitement of the 6 or 7 person rafts.
Delicious meals at the river are prepared by a professional cook and feature savory entrees like: grilled chicken, steak and fish; plus appetizers and a river specialty: dutch oven desserts.
Campsites are grass-covered and feature restrooms with showers for "roughing it" in comfort. Tents sleep 4 people and are available with foam pad. Campsites include a volleyball court and swimming pool, too!
Evening entertainment is a digital photo show featuring YOU running the rapids (shot earlier in the day), followed by a great evening campfire!
Professional river guides are talented and experienced in rafting skills, ensuring that your trip is exciting and fun!
